Louie Stowell
Louie Stowell is an English author, journalist, and television presenter. He is best known for his work on the BBC's Blue Peter, where he was a presenter from 1998 to 2008. He has also written several books, including the popular children's series The Secret Kingdom.
Stowell was born in London and attended the University of Oxford, where he studied English Literature. After graduating, he worked as a journalist for the BBC and other media outlets. He then moved into television, becoming a presenter on Blue Peter in 1998. During his time on the show, he was involved in a number of memorable moments, including the launch of the Blue Peter Garden and the unveiling of the Blue Peter Time Capsule.
Stowell has also written several books, including the Secret Kingdom series, which follows the adventures of four children who discover a magical kingdom. He has also written a number of non-fiction books, including The Great British Adventure and The Great British Bake Off.
Stowell is an active campaigner for a number of causes, including animal welfare and the environment. He is also a patron of the charity, The Wildlife Trusts.
