Rosie Dickins
Rosie Dickins is an award-winning children’s author and editor. She has written over 30 books for children, including picture books, novels, and non-fiction titles. Her work has been translated into over 20 languages and she has won numerous awards, including the Smarties Prize, the Red House Children’s Book Award, and the Sheffield Children’s Book Award.
Rosie is passionate about creating stories that inspire children to explore their imaginations and to think about the world around them. She believes that books can be a powerful tool for teaching children about the world and helping them to develop empathy and understanding. Her books often feature strong female characters and explore themes of friendship, family, and identity.
Rosie is also an experienced editor, having worked with some of the biggest names in children’s publishing. She is passionate about helping authors to bring their stories to life and to create books that will engage and inspire young readers. She is a regular speaker at literary events and has been a judge for the CILIP Carnegie Medal and the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize.
