The Paperblanks Gustav Klimt's 100th Anniversary Portrait of Adele Journal in the Ultra size is 7 x 9 inches and Smyth Sewn for durability. It has 144 lined pages of acid-free ivory 120 gsm paper, includes a memento pouch and a ribbon marker, and features an elastic closure. Gustav Klimt’s Portrait of Adele Bloch-Bauer I (1907), reproduced here, is an example of the Viennese “Jugendstil” style. With the subject’s face emerging from the background like a dream, the portrait is hauntingly beautiful. Seized by the Nazis in the 1940s, the painting was recovered and is now on display in New York.
