Sheri Salata
Sheri Salata is an American media executive, producer, and author. She is best known for her work as the President of Oprah Winfrey's Harpo Productions, where she was responsible for the production of The Oprah Winfrey Show, Oprah's Master Class, and Oprah's Lifeclass. She also served as the executive producer of the OWN Network's Super Soul Sunday.
Salata began her career in television in the late 1980s, working as a production assistant for the ABC News program 20/20. She then moved to the Oprah Winfrey Show in 1990, where she worked her way up to become the show's executive producer. During her time at Harpo, she was responsible for the production of over 4,500 episodes of the show.
In 2011, Salata was named President of Harpo Productions, becoming the first woman to hold the position. She was responsible for overseeing the production of all of Harpo's television and digital content, as well as the company's business operations.
In 2017, Salata left Harpo to pursue her own projects. She is currently the co-founder of The Well, a media company focused on creating content that inspires and empowers women. She is also the author of The Beautiful No, a book about embracing life's unexpected changes.
