Steven M Gillon

Steven M Gillon is an American historian and author. He is a professor of history and the Public Scholar at the University of Oklahoma. He is also a senior fellow at the Miller Center of Public Affairs at the University of Virginia. He is the author of several books on American history, including The Pact: Bill Clinton, Newt Gingrich, and the Rivalry that Defined a Generation, America’s Reluctant Prince: The Life of John F. Kennedy Jr., and The Kennedy Assassination—24 Hours After. He has also written for The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Wall Street Journal. He is a frequent guest on television and radio programs, including The Today Show, Good Morning America, and The Diane Rehm Show. He is a sought-after speaker on American history and politics, and has lectured at universities and organizations around the world.
