Lucy Worsley

Lucy Worsley is a British historian, author, curator, and television presenter. She is the Chief Curator at Historic Royal Palaces, a charity that looks after the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace, Kensington Palace, and the Banqueting House in Whitehall. She is also a regular presenter on BBC television programmes, including the popular series A Stately Home for All. Worsley has written several books on British history, including Cavalier: A Tale of Chivalry, Passion and Great Houses, and Eliza Rose: A Tudor Girl at the Court of Queen Elizabeth I. She has also written a number of children's books, including The Story of Britain's Royal Palaces and The Story of Britain's Great Monarchs. Worsley is a passionate advocate for the preservation of Britain's historic buildings and monuments. She has been involved in a number of projects to restore and conserve these sites, including the restoration of the Banqueting House in Whitehall. She is also a patron of the Heritage Alliance, a charity that works to protect and promote Britain's heritage.
