Pete McBride

Pete McBride is an award-winning photographer, filmmaker, and author. He is best known for his work in the outdoors, capturing stunning images of wild places and the people who inhabit them. His work has been featured in National Geographic, Outside Magazine, The New York Times, and many other publications. Pete has traveled to some of the most remote places on Earth, from the Himalayas to the Amazon, and his work has taken him to over 50 countries. He has documented the effects of climate change, explored the human connection to the land, and highlighted the importance of conservation. Pete is also an accomplished author, having written several books about his adventures, including The Colorado River: Flowing Through Conflict and Grand Canyon: Between River and Rim. He has also produced several short films, including Chasing Rivers and The Colorado, which have been screened at film festivals around the world. Pete is passionate about inspiring others to explore and appreciate the natural world. He has been a National Geographic Adventurer of the Year, a National Geographic Fellow, and a TEDx speaker. He is also a board member of the International League of Conservation Photographers.
