Jeffrey Schnapp

Jeffrey Schnapp is a professor of Romance Languages and Literatures at Harvard University. He is also the founder and faculty director of the Berkman Klein Center for Internet & Society at Harvard. Schnapp is a leading scholar in the fields of digital humanities, cultural history, and the history of technology. He has written extensively on the history of the book, the history of the printing press, and the history of the internet. He is also the author of several books, including The Electric Information Age Book, The Electric Information Age Book: McLuhan/Agel/Fiore and the Experimental Paperback, and Digital Humanities: A Primer for Students and Scholars. Schnapp is a passionate advocate for the use of digital technologies in the humanities, and has been a driving force in the development of the digital humanities field.
