Brian Conaghan is an award-winning author of young adult fiction. He was born in Scotland and now lives in Ireland. His books have been translated into over twenty languages and have been shortlisted for numerous awards, including the Carnegie Medal, the Costa Book Award, and the Branford Boase Award. His debut novel, The Bombs That Brought Us Together, won the 2016 Costa Children’s Book Award. Brian’s writing is often described as funny, moving, and thought-provoking. He has a unique ability to capture the voice of young people and to explore difficult topics in a way that is both accessible and engaging.
