Amos Nachoum

Amos Nachoum is an award-winning wildlife photographer and conservationist. He has been photographing wildlife for over 40 years, and his work has been featured in National Geographic, BBC Wildlife, and other publications. He is best known for his intimate and powerful images of large predators, such as polar bears, great white sharks, and killer whales. Nachoum is a passionate advocate for conservation and has dedicated his life to protecting the world’s wildlife. He has led expeditions to some of the most remote and dangerous places on Earth, including the Arctic, Antarctica, and the Amazon. He has also worked with numerous conservation organizations, including the World Wildlife Fund and the International Fund for Animal Welfare. Nachoum is the founder of Big Animals Expeditions, a company that specializes in wildlife photography tours. He has also written several books, including “Big Animals: Life in the Wild” and “The Great White Bear: A Natural and Unnatural History of the Polar Bear.” Nachoum’s work has been recognized with numerous awards, including the BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award and the International Conservation Photography Award. He is also a recipient of the National Geographic Adventurer of the Year Award.
