Brad Stone
Brad Stone is an American journalist and author. He is best known for his books on technology and business, including The Everything Store: Jeff Bezos and the Age of Amazon, which was a New York Times bestseller. Stone has written for publications such as The New York Times, Bloomberg Businessweek, and Wired. He has also appeared on television programs such as The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.
Stone graduated from the University of California, Berkeley in 1994 with a degree in English literature. He then worked as a reporter for The Washington Post and The New York Times before joining Bloomberg Businessweek in 2002. He has since written extensively about the technology industry, covering topics such as Amazon, Apple, Google, and Microsoft. He has also written about the business of sports, including the NFL and the NBA.
Stone is a two-time winner of the Gerald Loeb Award, the highest honor in business journalism. He has also won the Society of American Business Editors and Writers Award for best magazine feature and the Overseas Press Club Award for best business reporting from abroad. His work has been featured in The Best American Science and Nature Writing and The Best American Business Writing.
