Angela Hewitt
Angela Hewitt is a Canadian classical pianist and recording artist. She is widely regarded as one of the world's leading interpreters of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach. Hewitt has performed and recorded a wide range of repertoire, from Baroque to contemporary works, and has won numerous awards for her recordings. She has performed in some of the world's most prestigious venues, including the Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Musikverein in Vienna. Hewitt has also been a professor of piano at the Royal Academy of Music in London since 2001. She is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada. Hewitt is a passionate advocate for music education and has been involved in numerous educational initiatives, including the Royal Academy of Music's Piano Academy and the Royal Conservatory of Music's Learning Through the Arts program.
