Terry Deary

Terry Deary is a British author best known for his Horrible Histories series of books. He has written over 200 books, including fiction, non-fiction, and plays. His books have been translated into over 40 languages and have sold over 25 million copies worldwide. Deary was born in Sunderland, England in 1946. He studied at the University of Manchester and worked as a drama teacher before becoming a full-time writer in 1989.
