Stephen Fry
Stephen Fry is an English actor, comedian, writer, presenter, and activist. He is best known for his roles in the British comedy series Blackadder, A Bit of Fry & Laurie, and Jeeves and Wooster. He has also appeared in films such as V for Vendetta, Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, and The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. Fry is also a prolific author, having written several books, including The Liar, The Hippopotamus, and Mythos.
Fry is an outspoken advocate for mental health awareness, having spoken openly about his own struggles with bipolar disorder. He is also a strong supporter of LGBT rights, and has been a patron of the LGBT charity Stonewall since 2010. Fry is also a passionate advocate for animal rights, and is a patron of the animal welfare charity Animal Aid.
In addition to his acting and writing career, Fry is also a popular presenter, having hosted the BBC quiz show QI since 2003. He has also presented several documentaries, including Stephen Fry: The Secret Life of the Manic Depressive and Stephen Fry in America. Fry is also a popular public speaker, having given talks at the Royal Institution, the Hay Festival, and the Oxford Union.
