Robert B. Reich

Robert B. Reich is an American political commentator, professor, and author. He served as the 22nd United States Secretary of Labor under President Bill Clinton from 1993 to 1997. Reich is currently a professor of public policy at the University of California, Berkeley, and a senior fellow at the Blum Center for Developing Economies. Reich is a prolific writer, having authored 14 books, including the best-selling The Work of Nations, which has been translated into 22 languages, and his most recent book, Saving Capitalism: For the Many, Not the Few. He is also a frequent contributor to The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and The Atlantic. Reich is a strong advocate for economic and social justice, and has been a vocal critic of the current economic and political system in the United States. He has argued for a more equitable distribution of wealth, and for policies that would reduce inequality and create more opportunities for all Americans. He has also been a vocal proponent of raising the minimum wage, and has argued for a more progressive tax system.
