Anna Quindlen
Anna Quindlen is an American author, journalist, and opinion columnist. She is best known for her work as a columnist for The New York Times, where she wrote the "Public and Private" column from 1992 to 1994, and the "About New York" column from 1994 to 2000. Quindlen has also written several books, including the novels Object Lessons, One True Thing, and Rise and Shine, as well as the non-fiction works A Short Guide to a Happy Life and Thinking Out Loud.
Quindlen's writing is often characterized by its focus on the everyday lives of ordinary people, and her work often touches on themes of family, motherhood, and feminism.
