Monty Don

Monty Don is a British television presenter, writer, and speaker best known for his work on the BBC series Gardeners' World. He is also the author of several books on gardening and has written for a variety of publications. Don was born in Germany and raised in England. He studied at the University of Oxford and worked as a journalist before becoming a television presenter. He has presented Gardeners' World since 2003 and is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4's Gardeners' Question Time. Don is passionate about gardening and is an advocate for organic and sustainable gardening practices. He is a strong believer in the importance of connecting with nature and has been a vocal supporter of the National Trust and other conservation organizations. Don is a popular figure in the gardening world and has been awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of Birmingham for his work in promoting gardening and horticulture. He is also a Fellow of the Royal Horticultural Society.
