Mitch Albom
Mitch Albom is an American author, journalist, screenwriter, playwright, radio and television broadcaster, and musician. He is best known for his inspirational books, such as Tuesdays with Morrie, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, and For One More Day. Albom has also written several non-fiction books, including Have a Little Faith and The Time Keeper.
Albom was born in Passaic, New Jersey, and grew up in the nearby town of Oaklyn. He attended Brandeis University, where he studied sociology and became a sports writer for the school newspaper. After graduating, he worked as a sports journalist for The Detroit Free Press, where he wrote a weekly column.
Albom's books have been translated into over forty-five languages and have sold over thirty-five million copies worldwide. He has also written plays, musicals, and television scripts, and has been involved in various charitable causes. He is the founder of the S.A.Y. Detroit charity, which provides food, shelter, and medical care to the homeless in Detroit.
