Michael Bradley

Michael Bradley is an American professional soccer player who currently plays for Toronto FC in Major League Soccer. He is also a member of the United States men's national team, where he has earned over 140 caps since 2006. Bradley began his career with the MetroStars in 2004, and was named the team's captain in 2006. He was traded to Heerenveen in the Netherlands in 2006, and then to Borussia Mönchengladbach in Germany in 2008. He returned to MLS in 2011, signing with the expansion team Chivas USA. In 2013, he was traded to Toronto FC, where he has since become one of the team's most important players. Bradley is known for his versatility, as he is capable of playing in a variety of positions. He is a strong passer, and is also known for his defensive work rate. He is also a leader on the field, and is often seen directing his teammates and organizing the team's defense. Off the field, Bradley is known for his charitable work. He has been involved in a number of initiatives, including the Michael Bradley Foundation, which works to provide educational opportunities to children in need. He is also an ambassador for the Special Olympics.
