Liz Pichon
Liz Pichon is a British author and illustrator of children's books. She is best known for her Tom Gates series, which has sold over 10 million copies worldwide. She has also written and illustrated several other books, including The Brilliant World of Tom Gates, The Brilliant World of Tom Gates: Everything's Amazing (Sort Of), and The Brilliant World of Tom Gates: Top of the Class (Nearly).
Pichon was born in London and studied at the University of the Arts London. She has been writing and illustrating books since the early 2000s, and her work has been translated into over 30 languages. Her books are known for their humorous and relatable stories, as well as their bright and colorful illustrations.
Pichon has won numerous awards for her work, including the Red House Children's Book Award, the Waterstones Children's Book Prize, and the Roald Dahl Funny Prize. She has also been nominated for the Carnegie Medal and the Kate Greenaway Medal.
