Julian Gough
Julian Gough is an Irish novelist, playwright, and poet. He is best known for his novel Juno and Juliet, which won the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award in 2013. He has also written several plays, including The Boy Who Ate the Moon, which was performed at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin.
Gough was born in Galway, Ireland, and studied English and philosophy at Trinity College Dublin. He has lived in Berlin, London, and San Francisco, and currently resides in Berlin.
Gough's writing is often humorous and satirical, and his works often explore themes of identity, family, and relationships. He has been praised for his ability to combine the comic and the tragic in his writing. His works have been translated into several languages, and he has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature and the Hennessy Literary Award.
