Merlin Sheldrake
Merlin Sheldrake is a British biologist and author. He is best known for his research on the ecology and evolution of fungi, and for his book Entangled Life: How Fungi Make Our Worlds, Change Our Minds, and Shape Our Futures. Sheldrake is a research associate at the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Cambridge, and a visiting scholar at Harvard University. He has also held fellowships at the Santa Fe Institute and the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study. Sheldrake is a passionate advocate for the importance of fungi in our lives, and has been featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Guardian, and The Atlantic. He is currently working on a new book about the role of fungi in the global ecosystem.
