Lily King is an American author of contemporary fiction. She is best known for her novels The English Teacher, The Pleasure of My Company, and Writers & Lovers. King's work has been praised for its wit, humor, and insight into the human condition. She has been awarded numerous honors, including the New England Book Award, the Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Award, and the PEN/Hemingway Award.
