Robert Peston is a British journalist, broadcaster, and author. He is the Political Editor of ITV News and the presenter of Peston on Sunday. He was previously the Business Editor of BBC News and the Editor-in-Chief of the financial news website, The Spectator. Peston has won numerous awards for his journalism, including the Royal Television Society's Journalist of the Year Award in 2007 and the Richard Dimbleby Award in 2008. He is known for his in-depth coverage of the financial crisis of 2007-2008 and his interviews with leading political figures. He is also the author of several books, including WTF: What the Financial Crisis and How We Can Fix It.
