Josh Fox is an American filmmaker, environmental activist, and investigative journalist. He is best known for his Academy Award-nominated documentary Gasland, which exposed the dangers of hydraulic fracturing, or “fracking”. Fox has since become a leading voice in the anti-fracking movement, producing several more documentaries and speaking at events around the world. He has been featured in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Guardian, and The Washington Post. Fox is also the founder of the anti-fracking organization Gasland Action, which works to protect communities from the dangers of fracking. He is a passionate advocate for environmental justice and a powerful voice for the planet.
