He is the author of several books, including Zero-Sum Future: American Power in an Age of Anxiety and Easternization: War and Peace in the Asian Century. He has won numerous awards for his work, including the Orwell Prize for Journalism and the Foreign Press Association Journalist of the Year Award. He is a frequent guest on BBC Radio and other international media outlets. Rachman is a graduate of Oxford University and the London School of Economics.
