Ilan Pappe

Ilan Pappe is an Israeli historian, professor, and political activist. He is currently a professor with the College of Social Sciences and International Studies at the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom. Pappe is known for his research on the history of the Palestinian people and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. He is the author of several books, including The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine, The Modern Middle East, and A History of Modern Palestine. Pappe is a vocal critic of the Israeli government and its policies towards the Palestinians. He has been a strong advocate for a two-state solution to the conflict and has been involved in various peace initiatives. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of the Institute for Middle East Understanding.
