Robert J. Shiller
Robert J. Shiller is an American economist, Nobel Laureate, and professor at Yale University. He is best known for his work on behavioral economics, asset pricing, and financial markets. Shiller is the co-creator of the Case-Shiller Index, which is used to measure housing prices in the United States. He is also the author of several books, including Irrational Exuberance, which predicted the dot-com bubble of the late 1990s. Shiller has received numerous awards and honors, including the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 2013. He is a member of the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Shiller is a highly respected economist and his work has had a major impact on the field of economics.
