Nathaniel Rich

Nathaniel Rich is an American novelist, journalist, and essayist. He is best known for his novel, Odds Against Tomorrow, which was a finalist for the National Book Award in Fiction in 2014. Rich is also a contributing writer for The New York Times Magazine and The Atlantic. He has written extensively on climate change, politics, and culture. Rich is a graduate of Harvard University and lives in New Orleans. He is the author of two other novels, The Mayor's Tongue and King Zeno, as well as the nonfiction book Losing Earth: A Recent History. Rich's work has been translated into more than a dozen languages. He is a recipient of the Whiting Award, the Berlin Prize, and the National Magazine Award.
