Thomas Frank is an American political analyst, historian, and journalist. He is the founder and editor of the political magazine The Baffler, and the author of several books, including What's the Matter with Kansas? and Listen, Liberal. Frank is a prominent critic of neoliberalism and the political establishment, and his work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The Guardian. He is a frequent guest on television and radio programs, and has appeared on Real Time with Bill Maher, The Daily Show, and Democracy Now! Frank is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and holds a PhD in American Studies from the University of Chicago.
