Suzanne Chiew is a Singaporean writer and editor. She is the author of the novel The Paper Menagerie and Other Stories, which won the Hugo Award for Best Novelette in 2016. She has also written short stories for various publications, including The New Yorker, Asimov's Science Fiction, and Clarkesworld Magazine. She is the editor of the anthology A Field Guide to Surreal Botany, and her work has been translated into several languages. She is a graduate of the National University of Singapore and currently lives in Singapore.
