Joseph Coelho is a British poet, playwright, and children’s author. He has written several books, including Werewolf Club Rules, The Girl with the Shark’s Teeth, and The Algorithms of Love. He has also written for the stage, including the play The Good Neighbour. Coelho has been awarded the CLPE Poetry Award, the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize, and the Sainsbury’s Children’s Book Award. He is a passionate advocate for diversity in literature and has been a mentor for the Royal Court Theatre’s Young Writers Programme. He is also a visiting professor at the University of Winchester. Coelho’s work is known for its humour, heart, and insight into the human condition.
