Jeanne Willis is an English author and screenwriter. She has written over 100 books for children and adults, including the popular Dr. Xargle series. She has also written for television, including the BBC series The Story of Tracy Beaker. Willis has won numerous awards for her work, including the Nestlé Smarties Book Prize, the Red House Children's Book Award, and the Sheffield Children's Book Award. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. Willis is passionate about encouraging children to read and has been a judge for the Roald Dahl Funny Prize and the Blue Peter Book Awards.
