Slavoj Zizek

Slavoj Zizek is a Slovenian philosopher, cultural critic, and psychoanalyst. He is a professor at the Institute for Sociology and Philosophy at the University of Ljubljana, Global Distinguished Professor of German at New York University, and international director of the Birkbeck Institute for the Humanities of the University of London. Zizek is known for his works on psychoanalysis, Marxism, Hegelianism, and Lacanian theory. He has written over 60 books, including Living in the End Times, The Sublime Object of Ideology, and The Parallax View. Zizek is a highly influential figure in contemporary philosophy and has been described as the "Elvis of cultural theory".
