Aristotle

Aristotle (384-322 BCE) was an ancient Greek philosopher and scientist. He was born in Stagira, Macedonia, and studied at Plato's Academy in Athens. He is widely considered one of the most influential thinkers of all time. His works cover a wide range of topics, including logic, metaphysics, ethics, politics, and biology. He is best known for his theories on the four causes, the unmoved mover, and the golden mean. He also wrote extensively on rhetoric, poetics, and zoology. Aristotle's influence on Western thought is immense, and his works continue to be studied and discussed today.
