Chuck Wendig is an American author, game designer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his work in the Star Wars universe, having written the Aftermath trilogy of novels, as well as the Star Wars: The Force Awakens novelization. He has also written for video games, comics, and television, including the video game Shadow of Mordor and the TV series The Walking Dead. He is the author of numerous novels, including the Miriam Black series, the Atlanta Burns series, and the Heartland trilogy. He is also the author of the non-fiction book, The Kick-Ass Writer. He is an outspoken advocate for diversity in the entertainment industry, and is a frequent speaker at conventions and other events.
