Pierre Lemaitre

Pierre Lemaitre is a French author and filmmaker. He is best known for his crime fiction novels, which have been translated into numerous languages and adapted into films. He is the author of the Alex Award-winning novel, Au Revoir Là-Haut, which won the 2013 Prix Goncourt, France's most prestigious literary award. Lemaitre has also written several screenplays, including the award-winning film, Irréversible. He is a member of the Académie Goncourt and the Académie des Beaux-Arts. Lemaitre is a passionate advocate for the rights of authors and has been a vocal critic of the digital revolution and its impact on the publishing industry.
