Lyndsay Faye
Lyndsay Faye is an American author of historical fiction and mystery novels. She is best known for her Sherlock Holmes-inspired novel The Gods of Gotham, which was nominated for an Edgar Award. Faye has also written the Dust and Shadow series, which follows the adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson in 19th century London. Her other works include The Fatal Flame, The Whole Art of Detection, and The Paragon Hotel. Faye is a passionate advocate for diversity in literature and has been featured in The New York Times, The Guardian, and The Washington Post. She is a graduate of the University of Michigan and currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
