Elly Griffiths is a British author of crime fiction. She is best known for her series of novels featuring forensic archaeologist Dr. Ruth Galloway. Griffiths has also written several stand-alone novels, as well as the Magic Men series. She has won numerous awards for her work, including the Mary Higgins Clark Award and the CWA Dagger in the Library Award. Griffiths is a passionate advocate for libraries and literacy, and is a regular speaker at literary festivals. She lives in Brighton, England, with her husband and two children.
