Louise Candlish is a British author of psychological thrillers and suspense novels. She has written twelve novels, including Our House, which was a Sunday Times bestseller and shortlisted for the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year Award. Her other works include The Swimming Pool, The Sudden Departure of the Frasers, and Those People. Candlish is a graduate of the University of East Anglia and has worked as a journalist and a copywriter. She is a member of the Crime Writers' Association and the Society of Authors. Candlish lives in London with her husband and two children.
