Calla Henkel

Calla Henkel is an American artist and filmmaker based in Berlin. She is best known for her experimental films and installations that explore the relationship between technology and the body. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and the Berlinale Film Festival. She has also collaborated with a variety of musicians, including the band LCD Soundsystem. Henkel is a graduate of the School of Visual Arts in New York and the University of the Arts in Berlin. She is currently a professor at the University of the Arts in Berlin, where she teaches courses in film and media studies.
