Belinda Bauer is an award-winning author of crime fiction. She is best known for her debut novel, Blacklands, which won the Crime Writers' Association Gold Dagger Award for Best Crime Novel of the Year in 2010. Her other works include Rubbernecker, The Shut Eye, and Finders Keepers. Bauer has also written for television and radio, and her work has been translated into several languages. She is a passionate advocate for literacy and has been a guest speaker at numerous literary events. Bauer currently lives in Bristol, England, with her husband and two children.
