Patrice Lawrence

Patrice Lawrence is an award-winning author of young adult fiction. She was born in London and grew up in the UK and the US. Her debut novel, Orangeboy, won the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize and the YA Book Prize. Her other works include Indigo Donut, The Lies We Tell, and The Lost Soul Atlas. Lawrence is passionate about creating stories that explore identity, family, and belonging. She is a strong advocate for diversity in literature and works to ensure that all young people can see themselves represented in the stories they read.
