David Koepp is an American screenwriter, director, and producer. He is best known for writing the screenplays for Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible, Spider-Man, War of the Worlds, and Panic Room. He has also directed films such as Stir of Echoes, Secret Window, and Premium Rush. Koepp has been nominated for several awards, including the Saturn Award for Best Writing for Jurassic Park and the Writers Guild of America Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for Mission: Impossible. He has also won the Edgar Award for Best Motion Picture Screenplay for Death Becomes Her. Koepp continues to write and direct films, and is currently working on a new project.
