Paula Hawkins

Paula Hawkins is a British author best known for her 2015 psychological thriller novel, The Girl on the Train. The novel was an international bestseller, selling over 18 million copies worldwide and being adapted into a 2016 feature film. Hawkins has also written several other novels, including Into the Water and The Woman in the Window. She is a recipient of the British Book Award for Crime Thriller of the Year and the Goodreads Choice Award for Best Mystery & Thriller. Hawkins is a passionate advocate for mental health awareness and has spoken publicly about her own struggles with depression.
