Marcy Dermansky

Marcy Dermansky is an American novelist and short story writer. She is the author of the novels Bad Marie, Twins, and The Red Car, as well as the short story collection Very Nice. Her work has been published in The New Yorker, The Paris Review, and Granta, among other publications. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2017 PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize for Debut Fiction and the 2018 Bard Fiction Prize. Dermansky's writing is known for its dark humor and exploration of complex relationships. She currently lives in New York City.
