Richard Coles

Richard Coles is an English musician, broadcaster, author, and Church of England priest. He is best known as the multi-instrumentalist in the 1980s pop duo The Communards, and for his long-running BBC Radio 4 Saturday morning show, Saturday Live. Coles has written several books, including his autobiography, Fathomless Riches, and his memoir, The Reverend Richard Coles: A Clergyman's Life. He is an advocate for LGBT rights and mental health awareness, and is a patron of several charities. Coles is a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4's Thought for the Day and is a frequent guest on BBC Radio 4's The Moral Maze. He is a passionate advocate for the Church of England and its role in society.
