Clare Pooley is a British author, journalist, and entrepreneur. She is best known for her debut novel, The Authenticity Project, which was a Sunday Times bestseller. She is also the founder of the Soberistas website, a community for women in recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. She has written for publications such as The Guardian, The Telegraph, and The Times. She is a passionate advocate for mental health and addiction recovery, and has spoken at events such as TEDx and the Hay Festival. She is also a regular contributor to BBC Radio 4. Clare is a mother of three and lives in London.
