Wu Ming-Yi is a Taiwanese author and professor of creative writing. He is best known for his novels, which often explore themes of identity, nature, and the environment. His works have been translated into multiple languages and have won numerous awards, including the prestigious Man Asian Literary Prize. He has also written several short stories, essays, and poems. Wu Ming-Yi is a passionate advocate for environmental protection and has been involved in numerous conservation projects.
