Lisa McInerney

Lisa McInerney is an Irish novelist and short story writer. She is best known for her debut novel The Glorious Heresies, which won the 2016 Baileys Women's Prize for Fiction and the 2016 Desmond Elliott Prize. Her other works include The Blood Miracles, The Lesser Bohemians, and The Discomfort of Evening. McInerney is also a columnist for The Irish Times and has written for The Guardian, The New York Times, and The London Review of Books. She is a graduate of the University of East Anglia's Creative Writing MA program and currently lives in Galway, Ireland.
